Our MISSION
A Hand Up Not A Hand Out, is a non-profit 501-(c)(3) organization committed to helping homeless and unemployed men and women regain their self-worth and confidence. Through partnering with churches, businesses, and other non-profits we will assist men and women in achieving personal success and economic stability.
LATEST NEWS
Our Founder & Executive Director Renita Leonard has a goal of providing free hair care services every month to women that can't afford this service and if they are homeless, etc. She has been providing this service for over 20 years in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
